We spent a couple of hours creeking along this creek. Jay is standing on the bridge that crosses the creek at the entrance to the cabin property.

During our trek, we came upon this abandoned trailer home lost in the woods. It must have been sitting here for decades, completely overgrown around it. A little unnerving ;)

On our way home, we stopped in Metamora, Indiana for a couple of hours.

Metamora, Indiana sits on an old canal waterway that was dug out in the mid 1800s, just before railroads came in vogue. (The info boards providing history called the canal a financial disaster for Indiana.)
